Abstract
|

|
|
Chemical examination of Betula platyphylla var. latifolia afforded a novel diarylheptanoid named betulatetraol, together with a phenylpropanoid (3,4’’-dihydroxypropiophenone), flavan-3-ol [(+)-catechin] and its glycosides [(+)-catechin 5-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, (+)-catechin 7-O-beta-D-glucopyranosidel and two proanthocyanidins (procyanidins B-1 and B-3).
